Winfried Weigl is Senior Portfolio Manager for Fixed Income in the FI Solutions team at MEAG in Munich, specializing in Buy & Maintain Credit. In addition to a Master of Science in International Business and a CFA degree, he has over ten years of experience in managing bond portfolios. His ESG knowledge through the CESGA accreditation compliment his contribution as an ESG multiplier in the FI Solutions team. His career has led him to assume various capital markets roles, including a position as credit research analyst in New York (IG and EM Credit) and different portfolio manager positions (Buy & Maintain SSA and Credit as well as Active Credit strategies). For the last 4 years, his focus has been on managing LDI credit portfolios in special funds and direct investment mandates for institutional investors.
