Ruud van Maanen is Director Business Development at Achmea Real Estate, a position he started in early 2022. In this role, he is mainly involved in fund raising and development of the non-listed real estate funds and mandates. He is based at the headquarters of Achmea Real Esate in Amsterdam. Before this, Ruud has been Director Investor Relations & Corporate Development at the listed real estate company Wereldhave for nearly five years. Prior to this, he has been a sell-side analyst on the listed Continental European real estate sector on for ten years, at Rabo Securities and ABN AMRO. Ruud also has been a real estate appraiser after his study Construction & Real Estate at the Technical University of Eindhoven.
