Paul Severin can look back on a long career in the securities sector. He began as an equity analyst, moved into fund management, and eventually landed in communications and marketing through product management. Since April 2012, he has been leading the communications agendas and digital marketing at Erste Asset Management. This includes PR, the company’s online presence, the EAM investment blog, and work with social media.
Before joining Erste Asset Management, Paul Severin held various positions at Pioneer Investments Austria, including Head of Equity Management and Deputy Head for the Management of Institutional Funds. He worked as a primary equity analyst at Creditanstalt Investmentbank, Constantia Privatbank, and was involved in export financing at Dornbirner Sparkasse. Paul holds a Master of Business Administration in International Economics from the University of Innsbruck and Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA. He is a certified European Financial Analyst (CEFA) and a member of the board of the Austrian Society for Financial Analysts and Asset Managers. In this role, he is also actively involved in the Capital Market Initiative Austria.
