Karin Schlemaier has been appointed to the board of Niederösterreichische Vorsorgekasse AG in May 2018, and is responsible for investment and sustainability. She is also in charge of asset-liability management at HYPO NOE Landesbank für Niederösterreich und Wien AG with the main focus on management of interest rate in the banking book.

Growing up in the Tirol/Austria, Karin Schlemaier went to the commercial academy in Kitzbühel and completed her studies in business education at the University of Innsbruck. She has been working in the banking business for more than 20 years, covering many fields of expertise and concentrating on treasury and ALM. In 2013, she has joined HYPO NOE in Vienna where she worked in strategic planning and is currently responsible for ALM.
