Bernhard Schiessl leads S&P Global Sustainable 1’s engagement in Germany. Before joining S&P Global he served as the Chief Operating Officer and Head of Second Opinions and Data Strategy at CICERO Shades of Green in Oslo. Prior to CICERO he was awarded the Mercator Fellowship and was seconded to the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Sri Lanka and China and the ClimateWorks Foundation in San Francisco. He holds a Joint Master degree in Physics from the Technical University of Munich and Technical University of Denmark.
