Since the 1990s, I have been working in the real estate business, initially at a large German real estate developer for commercial properties (office and hotel buildings) and since 2000 at R+V Lebensversicherung AG; there until 2007 in Asset Management and then until today in Transaction Management for the acquisition of large office and commercial buildings and occasionally the sale of various properties. Additionally, for about 2.5 years, I have been working as an ESG Coordinator, acting as an interface between the real estate sector and other departments of the insurance company regarding e.g. reporting obligations (such as Taxonomy, CSRD, etc.).
