Michaela Plank is the Managing Director of Mercer Austria and responsible for all areas of Mercer’s business. She is also Vice President of „Denkwerkstatt St. Lambrecht“, a company for future security and retirement provision. For more than 20 years, Michaela has focussed on pension funds. She is the author of several pension fund studies and is responsible for the quarterly performance analysis of pension funds and provident funds in Austria.

Michaela studied economics at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration, specialising in life insurance. She joined Mercer in 2001 immediately after graduating from university. She has more than 20 years of experience in advising international clients on all aspects of occupational pension schemes and Investment Consulting. Between 2007 and 2020, Michaela was an authorised signatory of Mercer Austria until her promotion to Managing Director of Mercer Austria in 2020.
