Jelena Peshkatari is a Climate and Carbon Markets Solutions Specialist at MSCI, where she leads client coverage for energy corporates and trading desks. Her specialty is carbon markets, and she works with energy companies, financial institutions, and corporates to integrate carbon market intelligence into their commercial and sustainability strategies.

Jelena joined MSCI following the acquisition of Trove Research, where she led flagship research pieces including VCMI’s Using Carbon Credits to Meet Corporate Climate Targets and MSCI’s Corporate Emission Performance and the Use of Carbon Credits. Prior to Trove, she spent a decade in commodities at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, having begun her career on a graduate programme at a global macro hedge fund.

Jelena holds a first-class BSc in Economics and Business Finance from Brunel University, an MSc in Banking and International Finance with distinction from Bayes Business School, and an MSc in Climate Change Finance & Investment from the University of Edinburgh.
