Henning Mevenkamp is Advisor to the Management at NRW.Energy4Climate. Previously, he worked there as Project Manager for Energy Economics focusing on electricity grids, and as Advisor for Energy Policy at the transmission system operator Amprion. He began his career in the State Parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia as Head of Office and Policy Advisor.

His work focuses on electricity grid development and the policy and regulatory frameworks shaping it. He has worked on grid expansion, market design, and the coordination between transmission system operators, policymakers, and public institutions in the context of the energy transition
