The Scheuch Family Foundation is an independent foundation, that promotes sustainable development, where positive social, ecological and economic impact go hand in hand.

Ms. Mazanec joined Scheuch Foundation in 2022, where she is responsible for the overall global asset allocation, as well as for the management of Scheuch Impact Gmbh, which is an investment vehicle set-up by the foundation to support austrian early-stage companies with impact in the sectors food and agriculture.

Sonja is a specialist for economics, finance, investments and organizational management with entrepreneurial mindset and profound experience in managing different asset classes, companies and personalities under different circumstances, risk profiles and market conditions. Her experience also includes setting up and/or changing operational structures and processes using a holistic, systemic approach, which she demonstrated in various management and board positions for family offices of all sizes as well as for an institutional asset manager, where she managed a socially responsible fund already at the beginning of her career with top-in-peergroup results. Prior to joining Scheuch, she was Partner at a Venture Fund.

Sonja holds a bacherlor and master degree in business administration from the University of Vienna and is doctoral candidate at the Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien, focusing on investment decision making in family offices using systems theory.
