Kelley Luyken is the Manager for Impact & Research at Aurum Impact, a part of the Goldbeck family office investing in impact VC funds and impact startups with a focus on circularity & materials, climate & energy, natural ecosystems, and business models that advance a stable and equitable society. She leads the firm’s work on defining investment focus areas, developing impact assessment frameworks, and guiding portfolio funds and startups in their impact journey. She further functions as board member for Theia Finance Labs, a think tank incubating research solutions to make progress on the climate crisis.

Previously, Kelley spent years facilitating strategy and change processes at international organizations – on topics such as sustainable finance, climate justice, and intersectionality. This experience as social impact consultant got her hooked on both the people work involved in driving change and the analytical tools needed to make impact measurable. After starting her career in product management at an early-stage startup, she gained experience at climate finance think tank 2° Investing Initiative and at early- stage VC APX.

Kelley holds an M.Sc. in Management Science & Engineering from Stanford University, where she studied at the intersection of technology and policy with an emphasis on the energy sector. She also holds a B.A. in Literature & Culture from Stanford University.
