Before pivoting his focus entirely to the climate and biodiversity crisis, Markus co- founded Zoovu, an AI-driven digital sales assistant platform. As founding CEO, he scaled the company from a student startup in Vienna to a global leader with 150 employees across New York, London, and Europe, serving brands like Amazon, Microsoft, and Unilever. To date, Zoovu has raised over $200M in venture capital. Beyond his operational roles, Markus is an active early-stage investor via Triple Impact Ventures (TIV). His portfolio includes rising stars such as Emidat, Atmen, E-mobilio, Farmless, Repath, Kolum, and Hula Earth, which have collectively secured significant follow-on funding from top-tier firms including General Catalyst, Project A, World Fund, Point9, and FoodLabs.
