Anja Kundic is 47 years old, married and has two daughters aged 13 and 16. Professionally, she is a certified insurance business economist and has been working in the insurance industry for over 25 years. At the SDK Group, she became the first female executive at the first management level.

Around three years ago, she took over the ESG/Sustainability department as the Sustainability Officer at the SDK Group and rebuilt the company’s sustainability management. In addition to developing a sustainability strategy and implementing various sustainability initiatives, she is also responsible for regulatory topics such as the sustainability report.

A key focus of SDK’s sustainability measures lies in sustainable investment, the health and well-being of members, employees, and sales partners, as well as social sustainability. The goal of Anja Kundic and the ESG team is to inspire employees and members to embrace sustainability and thereby contribute to a livable future. Following the merger with the Stuttgarter Insurance Group, Anja Kundic will assume the role of Sustainability Officer for both companies starting April 1, 2026. For 2026, priority topics include the development of a joint sustainability strategy, a unified sustainability report, and the integration of the ESG teams.
