Christopher Knapp is Executive Director ESG Consultant at MSCI ESG Research in Frankfurt. In his role he is responsible for the management of the MSCI ESG Consultant Team for Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Before joining MSCI in 2017, Mr. Knapp worked for several years in Munich, initially at oekom research AG (now ISS Institutional Shareholder Services / Deutsche Börse) as Client Relations Manager, and later in institutional sales at Golding Capital Partners with a focus on infrastructure, private Debt & Private Equity.

Mr. Knapp holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) Sustainability Economics & Management from the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Geography from the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn
