Susanne Hasenhüttl began working as a research assistant in the ‘Ecological Economics’ department at ÖGUT – Austrian Society for Environment and Technology in 2001. She previously worked in the Project Management Group at WU Vienna. Susanne Hasenhüttl set up the ‘Sustainable Finance Market’ department at ÖGUT and has been working on the diverse issues in this area ever since. The sustainable finance expert has been head of sustainability certification for occupational pension funds, pension schemes and insurance companies since 2004. She has also been a trainer in the ÖGUT training programme Sustainable Investments for Financial Advisors since 2016. Susanne Hasenhüttl is a member of various advisory boards and juries, e.g. the ASRA jury for the best sustainability reports, the GREEN BRANDS jury and the ISO Committee 251. She was also a founding member of the committee for the FNG seal for sustainable mutual funds.
Susanne Hasenhüttl was a member of the management board of the crowdinvesting platform Crowd4Climate (now: klimja) from 2018-2023.
Susanne Hasenhüttl studied environmental systems sciences in Graz, specialising in economics.
