Vera Geis started her career in the banking industry working for KfW IPEX-Bank in Frankfurt as a Risk Analyst for rail transport. After several years in Risk Management, Vera switched to the Coverage side and became Client Associate for large corporates in Southern Germany, Austria, and Switzerland at the Swedish bank SEB in Munich. One of Vera’s working fields at SEB was advisory on Sustainable Finance. After ten years in the banking world, Vera decided to follow her passion for sustainability and joined ClimatePartner in 2022. As Key Account Manager, Vera advises the finance sector (banks, insurances and asset management companies) on ESG strategies with a focus on CO2 footprints, financed emissions, and the implementation of the CSRD.
