Dr Laurence Duc has led the Sustainability team at Pensimo Management AG since 2022. The company invests in real estate on behalf of Swiss pension funds and manages a portfolio of over 600 properties across Switzerland with a market value of approximately CHF 15 billion (as of end 2024). In her role, she is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously advancing the Pensimo Group’s sustainability strategy. Her current focus is on decarbonising the portfolio – both in operations and construction – as well as enhancing outdoor spaces to promote biodiversity and adapt to climate change.

Before joining Pensimo Management AG, Laurence Duc spent more than ten years at EBP Schweiz AG as Head of Environmental Planning, advising municipalities, cantons, and federal offices on environmental protection and climate adaptation. She studied Biology at the University of Lausanne and earned her PhD in Environmental Microbiology at ETH Zurich (Institute of Biogeochemistry and Pollutant Dynamics).
