FH-Prof. Anna-Vera Deinhammer is a strategist and integral engineering scientist dedicated to sustainable and healthy built environments. She is Vice President of the Circular Economy Forum Austria and represents the Austrian Sustainable Building Council (ÖGNI) internationally. From June 2023 to 2028, she holds the Endowed Chair for Sustainable Real Estate Development at FHWien der WKW—the first fully industry- funded professorship in the field.

Her work focuses on three innovation areas:

(II) Economics & Financing
(III) Integral Engineering

She specializes in circular economy in construction, integral construction research, and engineering science. As Director for Circular Cities & Regions at the Circular Economy Forum Austria since July 2022, she advances urban and regional circularity. In September 2023, she was elected Vice President at the Forum’s General Assembly.

Since October 2022, she has represented the Austrian Sustainable Building Council (ÖGNI) at the World Green Building Council and the Climate Positive Europe Alliance (CPEA) in Brussels. She also collaborates with Austrian municipalities and contributes to standards development in the Austrian Standards Institute (ASI) committee for sustainable buildings.
