Hannes Banzhaf joined the Carl Zeiss Foundation in March 2018. As Deputy Managing Director, he is responsible for the departments of Finance, Human Resources and IT. Previously he worked as an auditor for PwC in Zurich in the Reinsurance sector, at the BMW Group in the Pension Fund team and at Allianz Global Investors advising institutional clients. Hannes Banzhaf studied Economics and Management at the University of St. Gall as well as Accounting and Finance at the London School of Economics. He is a Swiss certified public auditor and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), certified Foundation Manager (DSA) and Private Equity-Advisor (EBS/BAI) degrees.
