Dr. Julia Bahlmann is Co-Head of the FERI SDG Office since February 2006. Previously, she spent more than ten years at the FERI Cognitive Finance Institute, the strategic think tank of the FERI Group. Since 2015, she has played a key role in shaping the institute’s founding phase and conceptual development.

She completed her PhD at the Institute of Public Finance and Fiscal Law at the University of St. Gallen, focusing on Impact Investing. In addition, she serves as a lecturer at the Competence Center for Social Innovation at the University of St. Gallen, where she is responsible for the THRIVE Impact Summer School, which she co-initiated in 2023.

She studied in Heidelberg and Marburg, complemented by academic stays in Europe and the United States, and graduated with a German-French double master’s degree in International Business Management.

Furthermore, Dr. Bahlmann holds certifications as an Impact Investing Advisor and Private Equity Advisor from the EBS Business School.
