Achmea Real Estate is part of the Achmea Group, one of the largest financial service providers in the Netherlands.
For over 30 institutional clients
Serving over 30 institutional clients, Achmea Real Estate operates through real estate funds and separate accounts. Our strategic partnerships with municipalities, developers, housing corporations, and care institutions facilitate a comprehensive approach to real estate investment. We actively manage portfolios to ensure optimal returns, both financially and for societally.
Shaping a sustainable future with real estate
Our vision is that investment management should contribute to a sustainable future. Our mission is to invest in real estate with high social value and an appropriate financial return. In doing so, we work for our institutional clients (and their customers) to ensure a good income for now, the near future and the longer term. In a sustainable, attractive living environment.
ESG strategy: setting the bar as high as possible
We set the bar for ESG as high as possible: we aim to have the greatest possible impact. Our managed real estate funds and portfolios are among the world’s best performers in terms of sustainability, according to the Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark. We are continuously taking concrete action on ESG. By 2030, all buildings in our portfolios must be A-rated, and we aim to reduce material-related CO2 emissions in future investments. To this end, we are experimenting with bio-based materials in construction. We apply high standards for new acquisitions, map climate risks for all our buildings and draw up adaptation plans by the end of 2025.
