Sustainable Blue Economy Senior Consultant Karla is a consultant working for the Sustainable Blue Economy Finance Initiative, which aims to help financial institutions align to the Sustainable Development Goal 14 – Life Below Water. Before joining the team at the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEP FI), she worked in international dispute resolutions in an international law firm and, separately, conducted climate litigation research for an academic institution. She is passionate about sustainable development and ecosystem conservation efforts. Karla studied Law at Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas, and holds a Master’s Degree in International Development from the University of Bristol.
