Claudia Tober, political economist has been managing director of CRIC since 2023 and now represents ethical and sustainable investors. A particular focus here is the value orientation and impact of ethically sustainable investment, which is implemented in the Associations activities, events, working groups, publications and participation in studies. She looks back on almost 15 years of management experience. From 2021 to 2023 at Klima-Kollekte – Kirchlicher Kompensationsfonds gGmbH, a church-based company which empowers to take climate-friendly actions, calculation on emissions and offsetting in global south countries. The main focus here was on the issue of climate justice, climate neutrality and regulatory requirements. From 2009 to 2020 she was executive director at the FNG. The focus here was on setting up and managing the office, stakeholder and political work; Events, market studies and analyses; with a special focus on the definitional and structural approach of sustainable finance. Previously, she worked at the German Bundestag for seven years, focusing on sustainable financial markets and consumer protection. In addition to her professional work, she was e.g. represented in various committees until the federal election in 2021, such as the Advisory Board for Sustainable Development of the State of Baden- Württemberg and the Economic Advisory Board of the B90/The Greens parliamentary group.
