Manfred Stüttgen is Professor for Banking and Finance at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences, Switzerland. Since 2013 his research focuses on wealth management and sustainable investing.

Prior to his academic engagement he spent many years as a Managing Director with a leading Swiss bank. Manfred joined the industry as a bank apprentice in 1988. He holds a Master in Theology from the University of Lucerne as well as a Master and Ph.D. in economics from the University of St. Gallen.
