Matthias is a co-founder and managing partner at asc impact, a sustainable forestry fund that reforests land in Sub-Saharan Africa on over 75,000 ha and saves several million tons of carbon. He is responsible for fund structuring, investor relations, and fund management. He is also Counsel for NIXDORF Kapital AG. He started his career at BCG and co-founded Linus Finance and has successfully established and operated a EUR 350m real estate fund. Besides that, he has successfully launched several further funds. He holds a PhD in law from Bucerius Law School and is a lecturer at the Humboldt University of Berlin.
