He is currently overseeing the establishment of a fund that invests in renewable energy in growth markets in Eastern Europe. For more than eight years, he led the SANAD Fund, an impact private debt and private equity fund investing in the MENA region, advised by FiM. Prior to joining Finance in Motion, he spent more than twelve years in investment banking in various positions at Warburg, UBS and Morgan Stanley, where he worked in M&A, supporting the mobilization of capital (equity, debt and hybrid capital) for a wide range of companies in different industries. Uwe holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from VWA Stuttgart, an MBA with Honours from London Business School and an MA in Documentary Photography from LCC (London).
