Professor Dr. Michael Rumberg is a distinguished expert in environmental technology, resource management, and sustainability, holding a professorship for life cycle assessment and climate change at Rottenburg University of Applied Forest Sciences. His academic background includes studies in forestry, environmental policy, and resource economics at the Agricultural University of Norway and the Albert Ludwigs University of Freiburg, where he also earned his doctorate. Throughout his career, he has held various positions in environmental technology, commodity trading, the certification industry, and insurance. For over 20 years, his professional and academic work has centered on resource management, climate change, environmental protection, and sustainability. Furthermore, he advises companies and non-governmental organizations on business and organizational development processes. Michael Rumberg has extensive international and intercultural experience, having worked on projects in more than 30 countries.
