Stefan Rattensperger is Managing Director at Infranity, which he joined in early 2022. He leads the Enhanced Returns Debt Strategy, overseeing origination, structuring, and execution of more than 30 infrastructure debt investments across previous sub- investment grade funds and, since 2024, the Enhanced Return Debt Fund. Before joining Infranity, Stefan was Senior Director and part of the London leadership team at Investec’s Power & Infrastructure division. He managed client coverage and delivered a wide range of debt financing solutions, focusing on energy, renewables, and digital infrastructure. Stefan joined Investec in 2011 as an associate, specializing in European lending and debt advisory. From 2009 to 2011, he worked as a Senior Consultant at Arup’s transaction advisory team, supporting infrastructure investors with commercial due diligence on European M&A transactions, particularly transport and regulated assets. Stefan began his career at the World Bank in 2006, advising on infrastructure projects in Eastern Europe and Central Asia. In 2007, he moved to Cambridge Economic Policy Associates (CEPA) in London, providing financial and economic advice in energy, social infrastructure, and utilities for UK and emerging markets clients.
He holds a degree from the Vienna University of Economics and Business, a master’s in international economics and development from Johns Hopkins SAIS, and is a CFA® Charterholder.
