Jakob Ransmayr brings more than a decade of experience in real estate investment, with a particular focus on portfolio and transaction management and ESG-integrated investment strategies. He has held senior roles within the industry and currently serves as Head of Real Estate Investment Management at BIG & ARE Austrian Real Estate, where he is responsible for a portfolio of approximately 2,000 properties across Austria and Germany. In his role, he leads the strategic development and execution of investment initiatives, aligning long-term value creation with sustainability objectives while maintaining strong financial performance. He has played a key role in advancing ESG integration across the portfolio and embedding sustainability considerations into investment decision-making processes. Jakob holds a Master’s degree in Real Estate Management from the University of Applied Sciences for Management & Communication Vienna (FH Wien der WKW) and a Master’s degree in Spatial Planning from the Vienna University of Technology. He is also a Certified Real Estate Investment Analyst (DVFA/IREBS).
