Heskel Nathaniel was born on March 12th 1962 in Haifa, Israel. From 1987 to 1989, he undertook a management degree at Middlesex University in London. He then completed his Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Henley Management College in London from 1989 to 1991.
Heskel Nathaniel founded E.D.R. – Eastern Development & Real Estate GmbH in Berlin in 1992 and served as Managing Director of the company until 2004. During this time, the company generated a total volume of 150 million euros after sales with the construction of 250 residential units. In 2004, Heskel Nathaniel and other partners founded arsago Alternative Capital Management GmbH 2014, based in Frankfurt, Berlin and Munich, and served as Managing Director until 2014. Arsago was an actively managed real estate investment fund in partnership with Morgan
Stanley Real Estate, Nordea and Harvard Endowment with assets under manage- ment of one billion euros.
Since 2009, Heskel Nathaniel has been Co-Founder, CEO and Managing Director of Trockland Management GmbH, based in Berlin. The company is committed to the development of unique spaces with a focus on Berlin and is responsible for extensive, award-winning new construction projects as well as the conversion and renovation of residential and commercial properties with a value of 2.5 billion euros to date.
Heskel Nathaniel is engaged in the following social institutions: Israeli Flying Aid (advisory board), Pears Jewish Campus Berlin (member of the board of directors), Touro University Berlin (member of the board of directors), Outward Bound Center for Peace building (co-founder), The Kabbalah Centre Berlin (multicultural centre for the study of the millennia-old wisdom of Kabbalah), Breaking The Ice (peacemaking organisation that supports cultural diversity through community projects).
