Torsten Müller’s career spans more than two decades in the banking and finance sector, with a recent focus on sustainable finance. He has been a member of the board of directors of Ökoworld Lux S.A. since July 2022, building on his role as a member of the executive board of Ökoworld AG, which began in January 2018.

Prior to his current positions, Mueller was involved in environmental advocacy and served on the Executive Board of Ökowerk e.V. from March 2018 to October 2022. This experience complements his work in sustainable finance at Ökoworld.

From August 2014 to December 2017, he contributed to the education sector as a lecturer at the Rheinisch-Westfälische Genossenschaftsakademie. At the same time, from January 2010 to December 2017, he worked at Volksbank im Bergischen Land eG, first as project manager for digitisation and later as head of private banking.

His expertise in private banking was further developed during his tenure as Regional Head of Private Banking at Volksbank Remscheid-Solingen eG from May 2007 to December 2009.

Müller’s career began at Dresdner Bank AG, where he worked from August 1997 to April 2007. During this time he held various positions, including CRM Private Banking and Certified Securities Customer Service Advisor. He began his journey in the financial sector with an apprenticeship as a bank clerk at Dresdner Bank AG.
