Max Meran
CEO
re-green
Max Meran is the founder and CEO of re-green, a climate infrastructure company focused on decarbonizing large commercial real estate across Germany. He leads the development of integrated energy systems—including heat pumps, solar, and energy management—that are fully financed and operated without upfront investment from property owners, creating both ESG impact and returns with double digit IRRs.
Before founding re-green, Max built and exited a software company, and worked for McKinsey, the World Bank and the Ministry of Economics, bringing a strong energy infrastructure mindset into the real estate sector. Today, he combines experience in finance, technology, and execution to scale a standardized, data-driven approach to energy infrastructure.
At re-green, Max works closely with institutional investors, asset managers, and operators to unlock new revenue streams from energy while reducing CO 2 emissions at scale.
