Kirsten Menezes is the Global Sustainability and Impact Lead for Infrastructure in the Alternatives division at Goldman Sachs. Currently she sits within the Infrastructure team and works with the division to develop the sustainability strategy of the funds, integrate sustainability considerations into the investment processes, and drive sustainable value creation at portfolio companies. Prior to joining Goldman in 2023, she led the Sustainable Organizations and ESG Practice at a consulting firm in Berkeley, California advising an array of clients from Fortune 500 companies to government agencies on net zero and resilience planning, materiality and sustainability strategies, and sustainable operations. Prior to that role, Kirsten was a director at a real estate sustainability consulting firm in California where she worked with a team of consultants executing on sustainability related services for portfolios of operational assets, as well as new developments. Kirsten brings over a decade of expertise in integrating sustainability into corporate strategies and asset management. She holds a B.S. in Biological Sciences from UC Santa Barbara.
