Since April 2023, Philipp Mayer has been a member of the executive board at Valida Vorsorge Management Group. As board member of Valida Holding AG, Valida Pension AG (pension fund), and Valida Plus AG (provident fund), he oversees risk management, actuarial services, legal and finance. After an academic career as a research assistant at the Academy of Sciences and assistant professor at the Technical University of Graz specializing in financial and actuarial mathematics, the PhD mathematician transitioned to the private sector. He brings over 15 years of experience in finance, including more than 10 years in leadership roles.
