Arno Machreich currently serves as Responsible Investments Analyst at Erste Asset Management GmbH, a position he has held since 2024. In this role, he focuses on sustainable investment strategies and ESG analysis within one of Austria’s leading asset management firms.

His career in the financial sector began with an internship in the Risk Department at Erste Asset Management GmbH during 2020 and 2021, where he gained valuable insights into risk management processes. Following this initial experience, he worked as a Consultant at Cosmo Consult GmbH from 2023 to 2024, before returning to Erste Asset Management in his current role.

Arno holds a Master of Science in Economics from WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business), which he completed between 2020 and 2023. During his master’s studies, he broadened his academic perspective through an Erasmus semester at Freie Universität Berlin, Germany. He previously earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Socioeconomics from WU Vienna, studying from 2015 to 2020.

His educational background in both economics and socioeconomics, combined with his practical experience in asset management and responsible investments, positions him well for his current focus on sustainable finance and ESG integration.
