Adam Lessing is an impact investor and advisor focusing on the finance of climate change mitigation. His investments include startups involved in carbon credit projects, carbon credit finance or the wider availability of financial services.

He is a member of the Sustainability Advisory Board of the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation (Umwelt- und Nachhaltigkeitsbeirat des ORF) and lecturer on Sustainable Finance at Central European University in Vienna. He is the author of various publications including „Sustainable Investing against Climate Change“ published by Braumüller, Vienna.

Adam Lessing has held leading positions with international financial services companies. Most recently he was member of the Board of LGT Bank Austria, the private bank of the Princely Family of Liechtenstein. Previously he was Head of Central & Eastern Europe at Fidelity International, Head of Business Development Europe for the British asset manager AVIVA Investors in London and has held other leading positions with AXA Investment Managers, Goldman Sachs and other major financial institutions.

Adam Lessing holds a doctorate in law (Dr.iur.) from the University of Vienna and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of California, Berkeley. He is a holder of the CWMA certificate and sworn court expert (beeideter Gerichtssachverständiger) for banking and securities matters.
