Damien has over 26 years of experience in investment management and business development. He currently heads the European Private Credit strategy at Allianz Global Investors.

Damien joined AllianzGI in 2013 as a Portfolio Manager. Since 2017, he has led the development of AllianzGI’s European mid market private credit strategy. Now fundraising for its fourth vintage, the European Private Credit platform has executed more than 150 investments and manages EUR 9bn in assets under management. Damien began his career at Citigroup in 2000 in capital markets and rating advisory, before spending seven years at Barclays Capital originating and structuring leveraged loans and bonds. From 2009 to 2013, Damien served as Director of Debt Advisory at Oddo, advising mid market companies on financing strategy, structuring, and capital raising.
