Irina Gagloeva is a Responsible Investments Analyst at Erste Asset Management’s Investment Division, where she has been working since November 2024. Her current role builds upon her three-month internship in the same department, which she completed from July to September 2024, providing her with hands-on experience in sustainable and responsible investment practices.
Irina holds a Master of Science in Economics from WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business), Austria, which she completed between 2021 and 2024. During her master’s studies, she enriched her academic experience through an Erasmus+ semester at the University of Mannheim, Germany, broadening her international perspective in economics and finance. Her academic foundation was established through her Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Business from the prestigious Lomonosov Moscow State University in Russia, where she studied from 2016 to 2020.
Throughout her master’s program at WU, Irina gained valuable teaching and research experience as a student assistant for the Department of Finance, Accounting & Statistics from 2022 to 2024. In this capacity, she supported master-level courses in „Asset/Risk Management“ and „Portfolio Management,“ as well as the PhD course „Finance Paper Reading,“ demonstrating her strong grasp of advanced financial concepts and her ability to bridge academic theory with practical application.
With her combination of academic excellence, practical experience in responsible investments, and multilingual background spanning Russian, German, and Austrian educational systems, Irina brings a unique international perspective to sustainable finance and investment management.
