Marleen is responsible for sourcing, setting up and oversight of investment opportunities and existing partner relationships for PATRIZIA Global Partners in Europe and particularly for PATRIZIA Sustainable Communities, PATRIZIA’s impact fund series. Prior to joining PATRIZIA, Marleen was a partner at AuxiSolid for four years, where she was responsible for advising institutional investors on portfolio and sustainability strategies, access to real estate markets and structuring of new sustainable investments. Before that, Marleen spent eight years at Aberdeen Asset Management, where she was responsible for client portfolios of European and Americas multi- manager investments and investment underwriting.
Marleen holds a M.Sc. in Real Estate from the Amsterdam School of Real Estate and has an M.Sc. in Urban Planning from the University of Amsterdam. Marleen also lectures on Fund Management and Sustainable Investment at the Amsterdam School of Real Estate and various INREV courses. She has been a member of INREV’s ESG committee and is currently a fellow at the Van Leer Foundation.
