Andreas Bayerle, age 56, joined Helvetia Versicherungen AG in 2016 as CFO & Head of Life Insurance. He holds a business degree from the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration and an MBA from INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France. Right after finishing INSEAD, Andreas joined McKinsey & Company, where he led numerous international projects for leading insurers and other financial institutions. In 2004, after 6 years of management consulting, Andreas started his management career in insurance by joining the unit-linked specialist Skandia Austria as CFO. Andreas is married to Dr. Michaela Bayerle-Eder, a Professor for Internal Medicine at the Vienna Medical University, and has 2 sons. When out of the office, he enjoys golfing, skiing and trekking with his family.
